Manuel Manrique, PhD, LP 

Director

Dr. Manrique received his Master’s degree and Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. He specializes in adult therapy for anxiety, depression, and personality disorders. He is also trained in child psychology, neuropsychology, and substance abuse. Dr. Manrique is a former professor at University of Michigan-Dearborn, taught at Wayne State University, is affiliated with The Michigan Analytic Institute, and is a published researcher.

Sanaa Basha, MA, LLPC, CAADC

Sanaa graduated with a Master's degree in Counseling from Wayne State University and received her CAADC from the state of Michigan. She primarily works with adults struggling with PTSD, depression, substance use disorder, and other mental health conditions. Her therapeutic approach involves cognitive-behavioral therapy as well as other techniques to meet client needs. She is also fluent in Arabic. Sanaa is currently seeing clients at the Dearborn location.

Samantha Cook, MS, LLP 

Samantha has a Master's degree in Clinical Health Psychology. She has experience working with adults struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, substance abuse, and health concerns. Samantha has an integrative approach and uses cognitive-behavioral therapy as well as mindfulness techniques to collaborate with the client to address their needs. She is currently accepting new clients at the Dearborn and Ferndale locations.

Kellie Cooper-Secrest, MS, LLP

Kellie received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and specializes in working with minority populations including LGBTQ individuals. She has an eclectic approach to therapy that combines techniques from behavioral, cognitive, analytic, interpersonal, and feminist therapy. She primarily works with adolescents and adults with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma-related stress, interpersonal conflict, gender, and sexuality. She is not accepting new clients at this time.

Mickey Cramer, MS, TLLP

 

Mickey recently obtained her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan University and achieved her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at the University of Colorado-Boulder. She spent the last year completing her practicum training at the University of Michigan-Dearborn CAPS (Counseling and Psychological Services). Her treatment approach is interpersonal and psychodynamic, and her current clinical interests include providing psychotherapy to adults for trauma and stress-related disorders, anxiety, and depression. She is currently accepting clients at the Dearborn, Livonia, and Plymouth locations.

Lina Darwish, MA, LLP

Lina received her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Couples and Family therapy from Wayne State University. Her therapeutic focus includes working with individuals who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflicts, mood disorders and other mental conditions. Additionally, Lina works with family systems, including couples, children, adolescents, and young adults struggling with issues related to adjusting to various life changes. Lina uses an integrative approach to therapy, tailoring her therapy to meet individual client needs. She is currently seeing clients in the Dearborn location.

 

Jessa Dmytryszyn, MS, LLP

 

Jessa received her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Madonna University. She has over five years of experience in providing psychological and diagnostic assessments to children and adults with emotional, learning, developmental, and behavioral difficulties. Her clinical interests include Autism Spectrum Disorder, neurological issues, and affective disorder. Jessa provides assessments and diagnostic evaluations at our Dearborn location.

 

Yasmeen El-Masry, MA, TLLP

Yasmeen received her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in
Couples & Family Therapy from Wayne State University. She has experience working with
individuals, families and couples of various ages and backgrounds. Her therapeutic focus
includes working with individuals who may be struggling with anxiety, depression,
interpersonal conflicts, and other mental health conditions. Yasmeen works with family
systems, including couples, children, adolescents, and young adults struggling with issues
related to adjusting to various life changes. Yasmeen uses an integrative approach to
therapy, tailoring her treatment to meet individual client needs. She also administers psychological evaluations and assessments. Yasmeen is currently taking new clients at the Dearborn office.

Cheryl Erdman, MA, LLP

Cheryl holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan and a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Moody Theological Seminary. She is Gottman Level 1 and 2 certified for couples therapy and facilitates community care groups for step-family couples. Her background includes work with individuals with depression, anxiety, grief, and relationship difficulties, among other mental health related concerns. She is especially passionate about helping couples and families work through the special challenges of step-/blended-family life. Most importantly, she is dedicated to helping her clients achieve personal growth and healing, and the restoration and flourishing of once troubled relationships. She is currently not accepting new clients.

JoAnne Halaweh, LMSW

JoAnne is a fully licensed clinical social worker who earned her Master's degree from Wayne State University. Her background in biological sciences and health psychology allows her to implement an integrated and holistic approach to treatment. JoAnne utilizes cognitive-behavioral and client-centered techniques to help clients achieve their individualized goals. She specializes in working with women, children, families, and couples. JoAnne creates a warm and nonjudgmental space to help clients successfully navigate through life’s stressors and overcome challenges to lead healthier lives. She is fluent in the Arabic language and is currently accepting clients at the Dearborn and Brownstown locations.

Brian Kitson, MA, TLLP

Brian received his Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Couples and Family therapy from Wayne State University. With his emphasis in Couples and Family therapy, he is adept in working with individuals at any age or in any stage of their lives. His therapeutic focus is with individuals who may be struggling with depression and anxiety, specifically in the LGBTQ community. Brian uses an eclectic approach to therapy, allowing for therapy to form and adapt to the individual’s needs and wishes for therapy. He currently sees clients at the Dearborn, Brownstown, and Ferndale locations.

Ashley Lang, MS, LLP

Ashley has a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology. She specializes in working with adults and adolescents who are experiencing a variety of difficulties related to depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, and substance use, as well as health and relationship concerns. She utilizes an integrative approach, with an emphasis on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). She currently sees clients at the Brownstown office. She also provides assessments and diagnostic evaluations at the Dearborn office.

Kaitlin Leonard-Murali, LLPC, CAADC, ADS

Kaitlin graduated from the University of Toledo with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Kaitlin emphasizes utilization of holistic practices to cope with or better manage unfavorable symptoms. She has experience working with teens and adults struggling with substance abuse, eating disorders, chronic stress, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety and severe and persistent mental illness. She is currently not accepting new clients.

Gerry Manrique, MA, LMSW

Gerry is a Master’s level Clinical Social worker who received his degree from the University of Michigan.  He has over twenty years of experience working with adults, youth, and families.   Gerry currently works with adults struggling with feelings of anxiety or depression as well as couples who are experiencing conflict in their relationship.  Additionally, he has extensive experience working with adolescents having behavioral issues in the home, school, or community.   Gerry is fluent in the Spanish language.  He currently sees clients primarily in the Dearborn office.

Jordan Mosley, MA, TLLP

Jordan received her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis on Couples and Family therapy from Wayne State University. She has experience working with individuals, families and couples of various ages and backgrounds. Her therapeutic focus is on those who struggle with anything from general life or relationship stress and anxiety to depression. Jordan has a passion for supporting and helping individuals gain confidence and self growth by providing a nurturing and collaborative environment. She is currently taking new clients at the Dearborn office.

Ashlee Mosley-Weisbarth, MS, TLLP

Ashlee has a Master’s degree in Psychology/Health. She specializes in academic underachievement, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety, and developmental/behavioral issues. She is not accepting new clients at this time.

Olivia Moquin, MS, TLLP

 

Olivia graduated with a Master's degree in Clinical Health Psychology from the University of Michigan, Dearborn. Her therapeutic focus includes working with individuals who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and emotional disturbance, among other conditions. Olivia also works with families, adolescents, and children who may be struggling with mental health throughout various life changes. Olivia uses an integrative approach to therapy, creating a unique treatment plan to meet each individual client's needs. She also administers psychological evaluations and assessments. Olivia is currently taking new clients at the Dearborn and Livonia locations.

Yusra Muflahi, LMSW

 

Yusra completed her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Social Work from Wayne State University. She specializes in depression, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal relationships, grief and loss, and other mental health conditions. She has experience working with individuals, couples, and families. Yusra has a passion for helping clients, using various approaches to help clients achieve their healing goals and live meaningful lives. Yusra is currently accepting clients at the Dearborn location

Jill Norbury-Jaranson, PsyD, LLP

Dr. Jill Norbury-Jaranson (Dr. Jill) has strong empathy and an ability to quickly assess and narrow treatment focus for maximum potential gain. She is a Limited License Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in psychological assessment, sexual offender risk assessment, military veteran compensation and pension evaluations, and therapeutic goal development. In addition, Dr. Jill supervises several interns at a non-profit agency and has been an international conference speaker and research presenter. She has a passion for helping individuals and families find and integrate healthy perceptions, strengthen relationships, and grow through traumatic/stressful experiences. She has office hours in Plymouth on Wednesday and in Dearborn on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. She is currently not accepting new clients.

Steve Weiss, MA, LLPC, MSAC

Steve graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2011 with a Master's degree in Addiction Counseling and added a Master's degree in Professional Counseling two years later. Steve specializes in treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADD, and ADHD. He has also successfully treated dozens of individuals, groups, and families that possess addictions including heroin/opiates, cocaine, amphetamines, and alcoholism.

Alyson Wilkes, MA, LLPC, NCC

Alyson received her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Michigan University. She is also a National Certified Counselor. She primarily works with adults and older adults with anxiety, depression, anger, and relational concerns. Alyson uses an eclectic approach to therapy that combines techniques from cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, person-centered, and solution-focused therapies. She currently sees clients at the Brownstown and Dearborn locations.

Alexis Williams, MA, LLPC, NCC
 

Alexis earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oakland University, and is a
National Certified Counselor. She has experience working with adolescents and adults with grief,
anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parental concerns, and struggles with self-esteem. Alexis has an
integrative approach including person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness and systems therapy.
She is currently accepting clients at the Dearborn and Ferndale locations.

Jakob Williams, MS, TLLP

Jakob has a Master’s degree in Clinical Health Psychology. He has experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, substance abuse, behavioral issues, and health concerns. Jakob has an integrative approach and uses cognitive behavioral therapy as well as mindfulness techniques to tailor treatment to meet individual client needs. He is currently seeing clients in Dearborn and Brownstown.

Nicholas Zulinski, MA, LLP, CAADC

Nicholas has a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, is a Limited Licensed Psychologist, and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. He has experience working with adolescents and adults with varying issues including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, mood disorders, trauma, and stress related to vocational, familial, and interpersonal conflicts. Nicholas is currently seeing clients at the Dearborn and Brownstown locations.
